RAYANA JAY

Rayana Jay from Richmond, California is a singer and songwriter. Rayana grew up surrounded by music, whether it was in her church choir or riding with her grandmother listening to Sam Cooke. 

Citing Amy Winehouse, Stevie Wonder as a few of her main influences, Rayana prides herself in her “honest songwriting,” focusing on the ups and downs of love. In 2016, Rayana Jay released her debut EP, “Sorry About Last Night” which The Fader called “one of the most relatable projects” of the year. The debut EP also landed Rayana on the cover of Spotify’s Fresh Finds playlist.  

Rayana Jay has worked with Disney and ESPN for their Undefeated campaign, which received global attention, including a segment on Good Morning America, The View, and a placement on Lebron James’ playlist highlighting women artists. 

In 2019, Rayana Jay went on a country wide tour opening up for Chicago R&B artist, BJ the Chicago Kid gaining new fans along the way. 

With her new EP “Last Call” on the way, Rayana has received placements on shows such as Invincible, Grown-Ish, Atlanta, and more.
